Musty Musketeers Trivia
- This was the last of Vernon Dent’s Stooge roles, as he went blind shortly after this film.
- The Boys use the convention of rhyming their girlfriend’s names which is used in a dozen other Stooge film shorts.
- A routine not so often used that is in this short is accidentally punching oneself in the chin. When a Stooge or supporting character is watching others fight, he cheers them on and makes mock punching motions with his arm, but he accidentally punches himself in the chin. Also used in Calling All Curs.
Production Notes
Musty Musketeers is a remake of 1948’s Fiddlers Three, using ample recycled footage.
